hey guys im building a turbo set up o n my ta and ned a alt bracket plz help??

i think smokinhawk alt bracket requires a WS6 hood.... not sure though

I dont see why it would. its really not much higher than the PS reservoir on the other side of the engine.

i have one, its not a good bracket. i would look other places for one.

If you can make your ownout of the stock alternator bracket! There are a few threads on it. Do a search. Also if you are not going to keep AC. make one that will put the Alternator where it was located.

personally, i think the speed inc bracket is the best. i had allot of belt slippage issues, until i got it. the only downside is that it is expensive and you have to buy a different alternator. i bough my own and saved a bit of money.

just buy their bracket and get an alternator of a 95 Chevy suburban 5.7

That kinda sucks that you have to get a different alternator for their bracket. I was actually thinking of getting their bracket too. So on top of spending the money for their bracket you're out the money for a new alternator?

yes.

their bracket works as solid tensioner too. so all the other tensioners can be removed

Pm him for price. Stock alternator can be used. His bracket is the best bracket I have seen. Especially for the price.
