Default Whats the Diff between 05 & 06 CTS V6

My aunt is getting a car this weekend and there are the exact same color. The 06 has 31k miles and they are asking 14k. The 05 has 58k miles and they are asking 12k at the same dealer. I noticed the shifters are different. Do they have the same transmission and just different shifters? Are all the V6's the same size for the 04 to 07 CTS? Anything bad that you have heard about these cars that I should be aware of? Thanks for the help.

Don't know the difference, but honestly this is a no-brainer. Get the 06 with half the miles for 2k more. That would be basically an extra 40 bucks per month for the payment.

Also, prior to 2006, OnStar was analog of which they no longer service. '06 starts digital OnStar and if you have it activated, you may receive a discount on your insurance and you do not have to worry about paying for a tow if you break down plus they will give you 3 months free and a special on calling minutes.
Dammm, I sound like a friggin' advertisment.
just shoot me.
