Default Moving to San Antonio/ need some help

Gonna be moving to the San Antonio Area come Febuary. My job is gonna be on the West side of the city towards Seguin. Just wondering if someone could point in the direction of some nice neighborhoods to buy a house. Gonna be driving down to check out the area next weekend but would be great to have some insite on where to look. Already did some research on the web but i couldnt find anything convincing.

Thanks All,
Shawn

also to get anything decent, you need to look on the north side sir... North east is OK NW is better.... 1604/redland and in that area you will find some nice real estate.....

Thats my side of town. If you want something in the city type atmosphere, check out Schertz or Cibilo area. It runs from about I10East and FM1518 up North East to FM1109 and FM78 area. There are quite a few subdivisions in this area and the school district is good. If you want more of a country life style, check out the La Vernia area. Its about 20 minutes south west of Seguin off of HWY 87. Its also about 20 minutes from San Antonio. The La Vernia school districts are very good as well.

La Vernia is nice. Decent land price and a nice 'country' type atmosphere ... but still close enough to SA to have all the conveniences.
