a few 305 tpi head questions
do the factory 305 tpi heads have the heat riser passages, in the inner two exhaust ports (3&5, or 4&6), like the older cast iron 305 heads do?
whats a fair price for a set of used tpi heads without the intake?
are all of them aluminum, or did they come alum and cast iron? what are the combustion chamber cc's volume? thanks.

Yes, they all have the heat cross overs, they aren't worth much, 50$ to 100$.
The camaro and firebird had the iron TPI heads with the canted center bolts for the intake and the corvettes had the aluminum with the traditional older style intake bolts.
the camaro and firebird 350 L98 had 64 cc chambers while the vette had the 58 cc chamber. I cannot remember what the 305 has as i would never waste my time on one, but they had the smaller chamber and i want to say also 58 cc like a vette but the 305 also had smaller valves.
Vortec heads and dont look back if you dont mind buying the TPI vortec intake to make it work, unless you are going carbed, then you need the vortec carbed intake.
