Default Iron center section or Aluminum center

Well I can't make up my mind over the aluminum center or the Iron center. I was told the only real difference is the weight. 13lbs or so, and I think it is a 200-300 difference too. Now this is my street car, not a track car by no means. See the track every blue moon.

Can someone shine there opinions on this for me/ or what would you do?

The Moser aluminum center section saves 14 pounds of weight and is a $155.00 option on my website. I've never seen a problem with the Moser alum center sections, they're a strong part, I have one in my Z28. Bob

It saves weight and there is less rotating mass with them gun drilled. Gun drilling is not recommended for street use though. Thanks. Bob
