Default Reading plugs...

How often should spark plugs be read on an nitrous application?

Every single pass? Every evening at the track?

Is it OK to drive back to the pit or must the car be shut off right after you pass the traps?

Every pass until its right.
Must be shut off then looked at.

If you have to ask these questions you should have someone help you that has a little knowledge of how to tune a N20 car. OR keep it under 100 shot and have fun.

Well, I am just kind of getting the hang of it. Some tell me every single pass... other tell me never.

I plan on running a 100-150 shot... no good?

Ill prolyl get heat for it, but as long as the car is tuned the right way by someone who knows what they are doing, i wouldnt pull plugs every run especially not at that type of shot. Its important to check them but since you usually change the plugs on nitrous cars so much, i usually just check them then as long as im not seeing anything weird before then.

I'd agree with that as long as the tune up is good.

We pull them every run until we feel we have a good tune up in it and are happy with the way the plug looks After we are happy then we will keep the plugs in it and watch the log to see if it does anything funny. Pull a couple to make sure it is correct and go from there. We havnt done any big tuneups but our small ones have looked rather good but we still need a lot more work.
