My friends car just started tapping one afternoon which soon turned into a knock and it coming from cylinder # 7 and there is a water oil mix coming out of the drivers side exhaust pipe, no metal in the oil and still has 60 psi oil pres. on idle, and there is oil particles floating around in the radiator

Do a compression test. Probably got a blown head gasket.

+1 for compression test. But I agree, sounds like a head gasket.

If there is oil and water mixed, I doubt it's just a head gasket. Regardless of what it may be, the head MUST come off. My guess is broken piston. Let us know.

well how does the car run, is it missing? water in the oil sounds like a head gaskit, but the ticking is what would consern me. was the car over heated or over reved? regraudless the heads need to come off.

car has like 80k on it and he said he was just drivin it easy and he heard a ticking noise and now its more like a knock. and there isnt very much oil in the water there is just oil and water mix coming out the exhaust, i will keep you posted
