Default Prc stage 2.5 5.3 heads & what cam for best results

I have a 00 camaro with a ls1. I have a slp lid, headers, 3" y, exhaust, 4000 stall and 3.73 rear.

I am looking to install heads, cam and fast intake. It is not my daily driver and I will be taking it to the track. I am looking for the best possible track numbers and still be driven on the street.

I can purchase a set of prc stage 2.5 5.3 heads, fast 90 and a cam as a kit. I have 2 cams to pick from. The first is a 228/228 571/571 on a 116 comp cam and a 232/236 600/600 on a 113 flowtech cam.

Any recomendations would be great. I was told the 228 cam would work better with my stall and gears, but I am not sure.

Thanks

I'd spend the money elsewhere (suspension and rear end), because once you start getting it to hook and the track (since you will be frequenting it), it's gonna be unmanageable and probably break the rear.

Keep in mind different milling and valve sizes have a large impact on what clears and doesn't without reliefs in the piston.

I got the 2.5 5.3 heads and the Torquer 2 cam with pretty much your same setup. I do have a 12bolt and my best NA time to date is a 11.19@120.8 mph. This is with a full weight car- AC and all.

The heads are not milled and the pistons are not cut.

Thanks for the help.
