Default Gimme your stock times

I want to know what the stock times are for the different trim levels of C-5's (auto vs 6 speed, coupes vs convertibles). I own a 2003 Lightning, and I want to race my buddy's 02 Vette at the track. It is a stock convertible and has the automatic tranny. I have run 13.50's @ 10x on several occasions in warmer weather with my stock truck and want to know ahead of time how I'll fare. I think the truck in the current temps will be close to 13.30's. I've heard the biased answers from the Lightning forums, but I want REAL WORLD numbers that I feel I'll have a better chance of getting here. Thanks for your help.

I think it'll be a close race since the C5 is an A4. An M6 with a good driver would beat you.

Personally, I think it depends on the car & driver. I'll never forget one night at Atco N.J. when I saw 3 different 1998 and newer vette's run & the fastest-quickest ran 14.0@100. They were A4's as well.

Now I do believe that they should go atleast 13.2x, considering the Z28's do stock. My point is that your buddy's driving capability will probably make the difference, Fred

Whoever has more traction will probably win this race.
