Default can titanium retainers be reused?

Thinking of doing a head swap.for increased power and to replace stuff that mite be wearing out.

car has mild street stripe cam and bolt-on's and is daily driven raced a few times a year.

can titanium retainers and valve spring seats be reused?

how long (miles) are Patriot double valve spring good for?

"""""""""""""""""""""""""""" comp. hardened push rods good for?

""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" stock lifters good for?

""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" double roller timing set?

any tips is appreciated

My educated guesses:

retainers: indefinitely
valve springs: 25-30,000+ miles (in your application)
pushrods: indefinitely (but remember to check length)
Lifters: <100k (I had a stocker go at 106k, replaced with LS7's)
Seats: indefinitely? not too sure on those
Chain: 50-100k+

Titanium retainers wear much faster on a street driven car, check for wear on the underside. You may be surprised.

While apart, test the springs

"""""""""""""""""""""""""""" comp. hardened push rods good for?

Keep all parts organized and with pushrod keep upside up. Get an organizing tray. These parts wear in together and can be re-used but should be placed in the exact position they came out of.

""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" stock lifters good for?

If you change lifters, I would change pushrods as well.

""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" double roller timing set?

Should be OK but check for wear.

any tips is appreciated

Default valvetrain stuff

I've read a few threads about lifters breaking on mid. mileage cars, I would prefer to swap lifters before they fail and ruin the motor so if heads are off mite as well upgrade heads for piece of mine and of course extra power.

I've read about the LS1 roller rockers spilling the bearings and ending up in the oil pan I'm thinking anything coming loose will do some extensive damage?

How would I test a valve spring?

are you Guy's saying push rods shrink down?

Pushrods won't shrink. But the ends wear in with their mating parts so a part change on either end should dictate a pushrod change as well. If you do mill heads and swap lifters, then you may find new pushrods are required to retain correct lifter preload.
