Default Vette Wont Start

I installed a new alternator on Friday. Car started right up, drove it twice that day for about 5 miles total. Started the car the next day, back it out of the garage and stalled it. Went to start it again and nothing, all it does is one single click. All the lights are on, gauge on, but once i turn to start, they go off. Battary is good cause just had charged it and i also hooked jumper cables up just to made sure but nothing. All i get is a single click, doesnt even try. Disconnect battary for awhile but same thing.

This car is new to me. Only had it 2 weeks.
