Question Whats the precise transmission mount to use.

I bought one from jegs but man, while driving at high speeds over 60mphs,
it vibrates. I have an A4.
could that be it?

What material was it made out of? If they sold you a poly mount, that could be why. The stock mounts are rubber.

yup. poly mounts, especially trans mounts. definately make some vibrations. it's cuz of how much stiffer than stock mounts. the more poly mounts the more vibration you're gonna get. personally i love it lol but to each his own. but all in all. unless you don't like the vibration you have nothing to worry about.

some poeple have vibes from the poly trans mount. What they figured out was the mount sits a little too high throwing the rear of the trans up a tad. The remedy is to cut two small tabs off the bottom of the mount and it will position the trans better to help eliminate vibes. You will have to search for the picture of where to cut bc I do not have one
