im not a guru or ne thing, but from my expiriance thats kind of mild for a stroker cam, atleast any of the off the shelf cams that is. maybe run the duration up a little more, maybe if you can get some of the other advanced tech guys in here they could give better advice than me. im considering a 383 myself and wouldnt mind hearing some more thoughts on this cam setup as well.

I would think the split is a bit large. Also, You may want to stay around a low to mid 230's if it's gonna be a daily driven vehicle. Also, if it's an auto, I would definately say you'd need around a 4000+ stall with that cam.

The cam has 15 degrees overlap.. I Just wondering if it going to chop good.. I already have the cam.. Just would like some more ideas.. Maybe some more cam guys can throw up some opions. The guys i talked to about it said makes great mid range to top end and the 383 cubic inch make up the bottem The car has a fast 92 92 also. With full lg tubes.. exc..

any of the big cams(ms4/violator/trex/poluter) would work in a 383. however research tony mamo 383 build, he made excellent hp and did not use a huge cam. I think his cam and yours might be in same ballpark
