They really do nothing to stiffen the chassis. A few companies used to make them, but only as, and officially called, harness bars.

they are harness bars, they do NOTHING for adding stiffness or any benefit to suspension/handling. all they do is attach to the rear seatbelt mounting points. they are nowhere near strong enough to add any kind of chassis strength.
LG/G2 used to make f-body harness bars, but havent in years. only place to find them is troll every classified section you find for racing f-bodies. every once in a while one pops up on frrax.
theyre a very good, very useful piece if you actually race your car more then just stab & steer straight line racing. i had mine made by a local shop. it was going to be a prototype for him, but not enough people paid up for it, so i got one of the 2 made.

yeah, thats exactly what i would want one for. To be able to put it in when i go road race or auto x but be able to take it out for street driving so i can still use the back seats if i need to.

Ahhh, well.... that's not even where the shocks attach to the car.... That part bolts to the seat belt reel anchor points. A structural member? Nope.
