It seems like you could just tie the signal wire the PCM is reading from the unused bank into the one being used. The sensors have to get up to temperature before their readings are perfectly accurate and I think they achieve this not only by exhaust heat but by a source voltage of some sort... They've got that and a ground. I'm totally blowing this all out of my *** but it's the path I'd be researching if I were you. I understand your headers go into a Y but is there absolutely no way you can weld a bung somewhere before the Y meets? I'd be more comfortable being able to monitor banks individually.

you can not do it because the crossover pipe from one bank goes in to a logger

what you can do is install both o2 sensors in the turbo downpipe

Yes, I already have 2 O2 holes in my down pipe, one for the NB and the other for my WB, so I could use the second one for the second O2. I'd tap the manifold at the point before the second side ties in, but most likely the OO2 would be pionting up and thats not the best way to put it
