Default Qa1????

Looking for some feedback on QA1 shocks. I have a 2002 camaro seat of the pants 500ish horse with a 2.0 60ft was looking to get a QA1 setup F or R series. Now I am reading very negative things about them! This is a street car it sees the track mabey twice a year so I am looking for somthing in the middle! Any info or opinions would be great thanks!!!

Fronts will leak after time. Pick up Strange, they are better and cheaper then QA1s. QA1s perform well, but if you can get a better shock at a better price, why bother with them

i think the QA1's are perfect for a street strip car, the single adj would be just fine, but the double would be better... i plan on just gettin the singles, my car has never seen the track and will not until i can get a 9" and DR's...

My buddy has had them on his TA for years w/o a problem so I was a little shocked to so many bad reviews about them! Thanks for the input, and i'll check into the strange shocks also.

Hello
For a street and strip car I would suggest going with the F Series. The R Series just offers a 275lbs rate (which is a little to soft for the street) I would also suggest going with a 300lbs front spring rate. But it also depends on how much you want to adjust them. For a street car singles are fine. I always recommend for a pure race car to go with the double. Below is a link to show you what all UMI Performance has to offer!

If you have any other questions feel free to ask and I will be more than glad to help!
Thanks
Brad
