Well he can check ebay I see WW 98-02 SS spoilers going for $125-$220.

His best bet is to pay the extra $$ and go OEM GM/SLP SS spoiler.

I have seen nothing but bad reports about the WW (Wings West) SS spoilers not fitting correctly. I have the ASCD (American Sports Car Design) 98-02 SS spoiler mine fit great no issues.

I have the OEM SS spoiler, and of course, there aren't any fitment issues. The down side is definitely the price. I think GM wants like $1500 for it. I got super lucky, and picked mine up off a guy with a "super wing" for $100.

I got lucky with a WW spoiler, but it still needed some work. Get the OEM piece if at all possible. Aftermarket is ok as far as spoilers go, but plan for some extra work to get it to fit right.

Yea I have a WW spoiler and it camr out pretty good. Didn't need any real mods but just a little sanding to fit. If you really look at it tho you can notice its not 100% perfect.

I have one going on my car while its getting repainted as we speak.

i won it real cheap brand new from a guy called SpoilerDirect on ebay. came with everything needed and looks nice, but since i just dropped the car off i have no idea how well its going to fit, will find out when my body guy tries putting it on.
