Trick flow 235 r heads v/s PRC 227/237????
Looking at buying a set of the 6 bolt trick flows 235's or the PRC 227 or 237 heads... Just looking for some thoughts on them. They will be on a 370 for a couple months then moving to a 427 LSX combo. Thanks for any helpfull info.

I think you cant go wrong with either the 237PRC heads or TFS235 heads. Both will grow very well when you swap to the bigger bore. Both heads have been proven to make great power. The advantages with the PRC heads is you don't need aftermarket rockers, we're currently offering free spring upgrade to .675 or .700" lift spring kit, and better pricing.
If you buy the TFS I think you'll need aftermarket rockers, a upgraded spring kit, and a little bit more $$$ out of your check book.
TFS Heads from Summit : $2449.99
Good spring kit for anything over .600" lift $300
Rocker System $500+
So your looking well over $3,000 for a set.
PRC heads are right over $2000 with good springs & you can run stock rockers...

I bought my TFS 235's from TEA and they milled the heads to the right combustion chamber size for me and installed all the springs and valves and seals for me and came with .650 lift springs already. Shipped to my door was under $2475!!!
My flowsheet looks like this on my TEA TFS235's
LIFT---Intake--Exhaust
.100"----68.5----53.9
.200"---145.5---126.5
.300"---232.3---201.1
.400"---291.9---247.8
.500"---328.6---270.4
.550"---341.2---273.2
.600"---347.1---277.0

All TFS LS heads are shipped with what they call their "Max Pressure" springs. These springs have as much lift capacity and more pressure than an Xtreme spring and also have better durability as verified by independent spintron testing. So this is not an accurate statement.

The cam was for a L92 / 370 combo that was a max effort small shot deal. Im sure another cam would work better but i have this one to get me by plus its new, i would trade for a better cam for this setup if i could find one. Like i said the 6.0 motor is just a getmeby.
