'99 SS, M6, 60K, lightly modded
I bought this at the end of '08 and have hardly driven it, but I'm in school and my wife needs a better daily driver for our 3 kids, so I'm thinking of selling it this spring and her car to pool our money to get a family SUV until I finish school next year and get another SS or Vette.
Here's the basics of my SS:
- black 1999 SS #1077
- 60K original miles
- M6 (factory Hurst)
- factory chrome SS rims (almost perfect) with aftermarket 11" wheels in the rear with 315s with an extra set of tires
- T-tops
- interior is a 8 out of 10 (until I get the carpets cleaned from previous owner which will be done within the month)
- exterior is a 9 out of 10. Also has brand new front and rear factory glass.
- extra set of leather TA seats to just throw in (great condition - 9/10)
Mods:
- LS6 intake
- Whisper Lid (78mm)
- Hooker Aerochamber Muffler
- 3:73 gears
Last DynoJet dyno was 330RWHP & 357RWTQ (still have dyno sheets). Then I took it to the local track and got a 13.23@108.91mph with a horrible 2.152 60' because I had street tires and didn't launch hard.... scared of breaking rearend from wheelhop from poor shocks. Everyone in my club says it can do 12.9s right now with the proper track and launch with some good DRs.
Mods to install soon:
- BMR LCAs
- BMR Panhard bar
- Bilstein HD rear shocks
- Jet Hots LT headers with ORY and cutout
- Tinted windows (just for looks)
Thanks in advance to anyone who can give me a ballpark figure of what would be realistic. I'm thinking of adding the SLP SS grille and SLP SS floormats for looks to help sell the car. But $350 is a lot to spend on that stuff.

Well, that sounds good, but I would be surprised to get that much. But maybe the economy is turning around a bit. Anyways, I will be getting Jet Hot LT headers installed with an ORY and cutout this next month. I hope with the new mods that I can at least get 10K for it. I've spent way more than that on just the car and the minor mods I've done so far. But that's all a part of the game, huh? Let me know if anyone else thinks I can get $10K for it with what I have listed above and the new headers/exhaust I'm about to do.

Sorry, but I'm not quite ready to sell it yet. Just started this thread to see what I should expect when the time comes. Now if you had a Toyota Highlander that had really low miles and semi-loaded, I would do that because the only reason I'd be selling this is to get the wife an SUV since we have 3 kids now and need more room.
