New Guy Doing His First SBC Swap.... Yep thats right folks. I am doing my first SBC swap into my 88 Jeep YJ Rock Crawler.
I bought a 5.3 from a 06 Silverado 1500 PU that has seen better days (cab fire). I got all the needed parts too...computer, Harness, starter, and so on.
Going to run a turbo 350 behind it.
So far I've had the harness weeded out and program changed in the computer and bought some block hugger headers that I'm not sure I will use.
I'm going to collect all the parts that will be needed to do the job and get started working on it in late February.
I ran across this site while surfing the net looking for info and helpful ideas and well.......
