Default BBC Swap wiring info

Was wondering if anyone has done a engine swap and keept the original gauge cluster and wiring? Is so could use some advice. Its driving me crazy

97 camaro took the v-6 out putting a 454 in but would like to use original gauge cluster.
Mainly for the speedometer and fuel

Yes, it can be used for that as long as you retain the fuel level sending unit and in the tank and you will need to retain the VSS signal from the trans to the speedometer.

Got most of the wiring done but ran into bigger problems, No tail lights, front blinkers not working. Im just about to say screw it and rip it all out and rewire the whole damn car. Might be better what yall think
