Default eibach pro spacer install problems

Okay, I am finally getting off my *** to install the cts-v brakes. Since I am adding spacers to the front, I should do the same to the rear. I got the front and rear wheel studs out no problem. Got the new extended studs in no problem on the front. But the rear ones wont slide in over the reluctor ring because the studs that came with eibach spacers have a larger base diameter. Does anyone else ever have a problem changing the wheel studs on the rear to extended ones when it has a 4 channel rear end? If you didn't what brand of stud did you use?

Default

how dangerous would it be to file down the edge of the base diameter a bit so that it can slide over the reluctor wheel?
