I currently dont have cats on my ride which has Borla catback on it. It does not throw codes(tuned out) at all. My problem is, I went to a emissions testing place and I got a real by the books guy and he did the mirror test. And needless to say, he wouldn't pass me.

My question is...Does anybody in Cobb know of a emissions place that is pretty lax that will just run the codes and do the gas cap and wont check for cats? If so where? Thanks ya'll.

Chris, asking for info on someone that will pass you with no cats on a public forum doesn't classify in the brightest of things to do.

I might know a guy, that knows a guy, that knows a guy that MIGHT know another guy....Maybe.

I feel ya Josh. Although I dont feel its that big of a thing. Its not like im asking for "hot" parts for sale. And technically my car is emissions LEGAL right now till the 25th. But your right Im prolly not gonna get anywhere with this. Go head and just close this thread.haha Oh let me know about the specs on that Cam..

I just saw another guy asking the same question here in Atlanta. Not that it'll help you any, but I've never had a guy check for cats on my place here in Fulton... Maybe you should move

It is against the law for them to pass you if you are not legal in that state. I was just watching "investigators" on TV and now I am an expert on the subject!
