Default Narrowing rearend opinions

I am ordering a rearend tonight through epp. I have 6.5bs draglites so i am torn on how much to narrow my 9inch when i order it tonight. I know narrowing it 1" on each side which will give me 7.5bs. But when or if i ever want to go with a different wheel, narrowing it 1" kinda leaves me with few choices of wheels. So what are you opinions on narrowing it 1.5" that way i could possibly go with a 5.5bs wheels down the road if i ever upgrade?

on a 15x10 wheel, 7.5" backspacing will put you in the stock location on a stock length rear. Narrowing it 1" each side, you would need a 6.5" b.s. (which is the same as your draglite)
