Default Delco TheftLoc

I know, the FAQ section (closed) has a posting on how to release your radio from the LOC mode from an unknown security code. It worked for me on my 2001 Z28 four years ago. A friend brought a 2000 Blazer over with a locked radio. We tried to unlock it but the dealer authorization number from that 2005 post appears to be invalid now.

After two google searches, I think I have found something that will work. There is a new authorization number. Entering the new number returned a 2 + 2 digit code:

Here's the link to the instructions: Delco Radio unLOC

The procedure is the same as in the FAQ, just the dealer authorization number has changed: Call 1-800-537-5140, when asked, enter 620529, press the # button and enter the 6 digit code from the radio....

In case you want to take it one step further; once you know the radio security code and the radio is unlocked you can remove the code altogether.

The Monsoon FAQ was updated with a working code just two weeks ago but I have added the code you found as well. Thanks.
