pretty sure you will have to do some changing for the torque tube and rear end as well. Depending on what heads and intake you use, you are looking at sensors and wiring.

Two and a half years is a very long time. There may be something very different out there by then.

well i am planning on buying it from gm performance parts with the ls7 intake manifold and ls7 as cast heads thats what it comes with from gmperformance parts not OEM fully machined cnc ls7 heads ............... but i was told i can use a tr6060 tranny ..... and i thinking can i use the c6 zo6 rear end torque tube ,tr-6060 tranny , and axle (full rear end of a c6 zo6 just with a different clutch the monster level 3 6 puck)...........

I won't buy it from GMPP. For that $$ you could have something way nastier. Like it was said earlier don't get to stuck on your parts now because so much will change in the next 2 years.

You can pick up the trans ,diff, craddle, and all used for about 5000.00 from a salvage yard. As for motor I wouldn't do the LSX block unless you are going some type of FI. The TR6060 is way over kill for that setup IMO.
