Welcome to the world of IRS.

I would check the Vette Specific forum, there are things that will act as a good band aid. Just becareful and not hop it too much more as you can destroy a very expensive drivetrain.

Welcome to the vette. That's what the IRS gets you, lots of that, and it's next to impossible to eliminate 100%

And to think, they put that same shitty setup in the new camaro. I'm really hoping GM smartens up, and offers a 1LE with a solid axle in the next couple years, they won't be able to keep that on the lot IMO.

Contact Chris @ GForce 1320. He makes a special axle kit for GTO's to cure wheel hop. I have them installed and yes they work. I'm sure he'd be willing to make such a kit for vette's if the demand was there.

Nothing is ever "cured", its a band aid. Even solid rear hop. Unless you weld everything solid, its a reduction at best, and most times at the sacrifice of some driveability.
