Always use heat on the pins before trying to remove them!!! If you're lucky and there's some left sticking out, I've been able to use a dremel and notch the pin and use a screwdriver impact to work it out after heating. If not, I've had to grind down into the pin and use a carbide to drill and easy-out after heating..
