If memory serves correctly you are going to just take the cluster out. i think remove the plastic trim around it, there should be a 4 screws (1 at each corner of the cluster) i think the removal of the cluster is pretty straight forward, just look around and u will see the screws u need to remove it ( its not that hard)
p.s. u dont have to remove the whole dash ( now that is a pain in the ***)

I'm not sure if there are screws or anything on the piece. I'm pretty sure you just snap it out. After that you'll have the guage assembly, and you'll remove that after dealing with the screws. Then you can move that to a bench, take THAT apart, and put your new guages on. Depending on what kind of overlays, you might have to take the needles off. If you do, make sure you take a picture, or take not of where the needles are when your car is off AND running. The running is most important though.
