Default true duals with no mufflers

Anyone have true duals and no mufflers at all dumped before the axle? My car is not going to be a daily driver much longer and thinking about just welding pipes in where the mufflers are now. Good idea or bad? I have the proflow twisters on there now. I don't really give a **** how much louder it would be just wondering if it would pick up a few more horses.

It won't be enough to notice unless you have restrictive mufflers on your duals. What do you have on there now ?

It wouldn't make enough difference to notice. IMO I would just leave it like it is.

its pretty brutal when there are no mufflers. drove it like that for 6 months and it was horrible.

sounds GREAT at idle, but around town it was bad. ended up ******* the car arond to keep the rpms lower.

a good muffler will still be loud and throaty, but will refine the sound much more.

and with TDs...you won't really see any noticable power increase
