Default Center console transplants from V2 to V1 ... anybody do this???

I am considering replacing the existing center console arm rest with the more commodious standard CTS arm rest. During my investigation of options, I started looking into the V2 consoles and their inherent better design including rear seat AC ducts, improved storage, dual 12V power, etc.

Has anyone out there successfully adapted a V2 console into their V1 cars?

Thanks.

Good luck with that. I will be shocked if it's an easy swap. Between the relocated ebrake and integration to the upper part of the center console, I just don't see it working. However, I have seen some Honda owners do some pretty "amazing" things in regards to miscellaneous vehicle parts attached to there own...

I would like to see this or any other variation of this where there are AC vents for the passengers. Think about it... The GTO has rear vents and its a coupe. Why not a more expensive sedan?

It would be great if there were a way to include a hand operated parking brake.
