FAST 92/92 or Vic Jr with 4150?
I've got a LQ9 that I'm putting together, with my MTI 2e heads and X1 cam. My question is which intake will suit the set up better? Rightnow it's just stock shortblock, and when that breaks the plan is the go with a forged 408 kit.. But that's not rightnow.. This car is not much of a street car(not the car in my sig) I mostly just drive it to the drag strip, and home. I don't mind cutting the cowl, but at the same time, if the 92/92 will provide the flow I need, then why cut it up?
Thanks in advance..

Depends, honestly. Both are a good chunk of money & both perform well in the right combo. The Vic will carry power longer but will be softer down low, fact. You already mention plans to change to a 408 later which I'm assuming will be accompanied with a cam change as well as heads. And you mention your car is gonna see mainly strip time.
I'd say Vic Jr & 4150 for your overall goals. Especially if you plan on spinning close to 7000 RPMs. But thats just my opinoin.
