Default Quickie: LPW diff cover add oil capacity to a 10 bolt?

Car's jacked up a bit in the rear as I was putting in my new to me 10 bolt and I was filling it up with oil. Guy at the speed shop said it shouldn't take more than 3 quarts but I notice the LPW cover adds quite a bit more space to the area. I also pulled the axles so I might have drained more fluid than a normal maintenance job. I put in all three quarts and it still hasn't dribbled out, but I'm guessing the fact the car is raised might have something to do with it. Access to the fill plug is a PITA when the car is on the ground since my car is lowered.

3 quarts sound about right? Capacity list that came with the cover lists only Danas and Chryslers and they're generally between 2.5 and 3.75 quarts. Have no clue where my manual is at anymore.
