help w/puttin lines back on!!!

Default help w/puttin lines back on!!!

ok, i can not connect the lines to the transmission... the little metal clip and plastic peace.. i cannot figure out if the metal peice goes on the outside or inside of the white platic part, or if the matal clip has to go on the tranny part or what can anyone help explain or is there a place that shows me how it goes?? thanks a lot, dwayne

The metal clips snap into the fittings on the side of the transmission. It's about 100 times easier to put them in BEFORE you re-install the trans, but I guess it's a little too late for that now

They're a little tricky but once you get it they're pretty easy. Then the trans lines just snap in, (give them a good tug once they're in to make sure they seated) and that metal clip holds them in. You put the clips in first, then the lines. The plastic rings finally snap over that to keep out dust and prevent the clips from popping out.

That's about it

well, i put the motor and tranny in at the same time... but thanks for the help... i really needed it!!! dwayne
