A/C belt Quick question here, I have a 98 Z28 5.7 lit, my air conditioning belt tensioner is making a nasty sound. Don't have the time right now to replace it. Can I just take off belt until I change out the tensioner, or will that cause problems

yes I ran this way for over a year. Take it off! It also could be the idler pulley. Which I have both, which the tensioner has seen almost no use if you want it very cheap.
