I'm looking at ordering the stock flat bolt-on fiberglass hood from Vfn. Website says it weighs 11 lbs. and fits on Trans Am/Firebirds.

Anyone bought this hood from Vfn? Did all the holes line up? Did it fit with no prep work? Did it need a lot of sanding before painting, or was it ready to go? Any big gaps to deal with? Any other problems to look out for?

yeah, they are cheap, but do not look good, better save and buy a real one, let's say SLP ho rami air hood <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I called them about a flat 'glass Camaro hood, they said pin-on is 11 lbs, bolt-on is 21 lbs.
