Default Functional SS Hood Mods ??

Is there a way to increase air intake on a 2001 SS with a Ram air hood?
I am considering an aftermarket High Flow Induction Lid, but I want to make sure it fits the SS hood.

Can the Hood vent be opened for more air. I never drive in the rain anyway??

And finally, would mods to the bottom of the air box help if I have a ram air hood setup?

Brandon

You can do a few free mods to your air box; cut the front opening larger, raise the shroud the box sits on with some washers...it is that simple to open it up some more.
