Default lt1 sounds different, why?

ive owned an lt1 camaro, and an ls1. my lt had flowmasters and no cats, stock cast manifolds. my ls1 has BBK LT's, no cats, and flowmaster cat back. why did the LT1 have a deeper tone? ive met with other people who had lt1 cars with flows that sounded better than my ls1. any thoughts?

Two things....

1) the LS1 and LT1 engines have different firing orders. So.... if the cylinders are firing in a differenct sequence that would be the main ingredient to a different sound.

2) Iron LT1 block compared to Aluminum LS1 block... that has a slight change in the way sound works... but not as much as reason #1.

That makes since. I thought the firing order might have been different but wasn't sure. Don't get me wrong I love my 700 dollar ls1
But the sound of the lt is way better.
