HID install
I have a 2000 trans am and am wanting to install HID's for both hi/lo plus fog lights, I know that I'll need three hits but I don't know about the bulb sizes (h4?) and where some of you may have gotten your housings. I have seen some 4701's dismanteled but I was thinking of the projector housings from ebay???? any ideas?

From what i read I dont think that HID's liked to blinked on and off. I've see alot of ppl install HID's for the Low Beams and Fog Lights including myself. I would think you wouldn't need HID's for your high beams because your Low Beams will be bright enough.
Here is a Write Up. I know it's not Projector but it's a pretty cheap way for HID's

yeah i read that whole thread and it's what I figured, holowing out some silverlites and installing the HIDs. The high beams are just becase I dont want the cross eyed look only low HIDs .
secondly, has anyone heard of or had a problem melting the platic lenses on your fog lights with a 6k bulb?
