Those of you with roof replaced under the TSB
Just dropped my car off this morning to have this repair done. Bubbles were starting to get bad.
How long did it take them to make the repair? They told me it would be ready by tomorrow afternoon. Does that sound about right?
Anything in particular that I need to look for when I get the car back other than the paint work and for scratches and such? Something that you may have noticed a few days later?
And finally, have you had any issues with the replacement? Water leaks, air leaks, etc., something that just doesn't look right?
Thanks for the info.

The TSB advises approx. 5 hours to do the repair, so it could theoretically be done in a day. I had mine done by an outside shop, and they took a lot longer, masking off the car, and taking care painting, polishing, and fitting the new roof.
The fit of the new roof isn't exactly the same as the as-built one, but the differences are very small & can only be noticed by a trained eye. No water leaks as yet.
