Vibrations while braking
Well I have recently noticed that anytime I am going highway speeds and I apply moderate brake pressure i get vibrations in the pedal and my steering also seems to shake. I am wondering whether my rotors could be warped . I also know that one of my control arm bushings is torn up so could this be a cause of my vibrations when I brake or is it most likely my rotors. I have slotted and drilled rotors. I've heard they don't help anything but anywho I was wondering if they are warped could I just get them turned? Few people have told me slotted and drilled rotors cant be turned or machined whatever its called. I'm kinda on a tight budget being a college student and all that thats why I'm considering maybe getting them cut.

your rotors are warped, yes drilled and slotted rotors cant be machined(turned). if your control arm bushings are collapsed that will cause a clunking over bumps and will not cause a pulsation or have anything to do with when you are braking.

Exactly. Go to autozone or any car parts store and buy their cheapest rotors if youre on a budget.

YES, you can get them TURNED.
A good shop should be able to do it.
I did mine on my at a local Chevy dealer to my C5 corvette that I had and turned them no problem.
good luck
