Default Air vent removal

Hey. So i have my sirius in my 1999 trans am and it has the vent mount for the radio and i broke one of the vents getting a little ruff one night . I tried to pull out the outer plastic cover on the round vents that are in the trans ams and broke it in half. I am wondering if anybody knows how to remove the vents without breaking them before i go to the junk yard to get a new one. Thanks.

Close the vents (down) and put a knife/small flat head point at the top. Apply pressure, and kinda pry it off.
The vent flaps tabs are snapped in (you'll see once the cover/adjuster/ring is off), just GENTLY pull and they'll pop right off. Be easy, I broke a couple tabs this way.
Pretty simple. Once you get one out, the rest will be a breeze.
