Default A reminder to keep your clutch hydro fliud clean.

I have 1000 miles on my new tick master, monster clutch and slave. I changed the DOT4 yesterday because the pedal didn't have the feel that it used to. It felt kind of squishy. Here's the fluid I pulled out (sorry about the cell pic):

It was very dark, so I bled the whole system until clean fluid came out. The remote bleeder made this extremely simple.

The pedal feels great now. Keep an eye on your clutch fluid everyone!

The Ranger protocol. Cant stress this enough. If you follow his method and swap out the reservoir fluid only everytime you fill with gas you run problem free. Its only a mere thimble full of fluid and a couple bottles per year for the 8 bucks it costs its the best investment you'll ever make to keep your car performing well. Sticky clutch pedals = costly repairs....
