Bullet muffler and band clamp question
This is probably an oxymoron, but what is the quietest bullet style muffler? My current setup is Pacesetter LT's, ORY, and LM1. I have to take part of my exhaust apart to drop my tranny anyway, so I figured I should replace the resonator while i'm under there. Right now I'm leaning towards whatever people use to make their system a magnamouth, but if there is something that will fit that is quieter I'd look into that too.
My car is stored right now, (about 25 miles away) so I can't check it out right now, but I have u-bolts on the y-pipe right now. If I wanted to replace them with band clamps, would I need the lap joint style to connect the collectors to the y-pipe (also pacesetter)? Also anybody now what size? I can do some research and probably find the right size, just wanted to make sure lap joint is the style I would need.
