Engine Break-in w/ new clutch...
Got 'er done and wanted some direction on breaking in the engine and also the new clutch. Read a bunch a that the engine should be put through some paces right away, but the clutch break-in recommendation is baby it... thanks for any experience or advice... want to make the best of this new set-up.
Also, I went with the Royal Purple Break-in oil.... how long/soon should I wait to change it to a dino?

I think you will be ok not really babying it but not hammering on it either. You do need to get the cylinder pressures up a little bit to make sure the rings seat but you don't necessarily have to do it at 6700 rpm. Vary your rpms and accell/decel loads and I think you should be able to seat your rings without glazing your clutch

Blue, the point of clutch break-in is seating the materials and this happens as a result of use (that's right shifting gears as much as possible). That being said this should not hinder or conflict with breaking in your motor. Varying speed and gear go hand-in-hand. So, get out that and put some miles on that fresh build and let me know if you have any further questions!
