Default Does NEBody Race @ Woodburn Dragstrip or Portland Int. Raceway??

I am thinking of moving up into that area and want to know what the strips are like, and how many days of no rain can I expect? I'm coming from Phoenix AZ and am used to lots of sun. Are there any times when you have to put your car up for a while? Thanks everyone!

Yep I have run both tracks. IMHO I think Woodburn is the best 1/4 track in the area.

Summer usually rolls all the way thru without any rainouts tho you can never bet on that out in the Pacific NW.

Yes you will put your car up for the winter unless you like driving in the rain and snow. The track closes for the winter too.

Usually from early Nov.till mid March. Where do you plan on moving to. Check the Pacific Northwest section of www.camaroz28.com A lot of us hang out there.

I'm thinking of outside of Portland . . . I'm in IT, so I more than likely would have a job in Portland. Just want to live in the most crime-free suburb. Any suggestions?? Not out of control house costs either ( I'm looking to buy ).

Thanks!

HHMMMMM......I don't know a whole lot about the greater Portland area myself. Maybe you should look across the state line in Vancouver, WA.

The west side of Portland is a nice area along with the soutwest area. I would avoid SE and NE areas

I live 45 minutes to the east in White Salmon WA.
