Default Replacing Cracked upper dash have question

So I am going to replace my upper dash board because a crack appeared. It looks like I could get a replacement for about $300 including shipping here: http://www.youngsfbody.com/inc/sdetail/5164

but there is also a dash cover I could purchase for only 200ish here: http://www.fbodywarehouse.com/fbw/pr...cat=405&page=1

Has anyone tried using the dash cover method? If so how good does it look?

Damn, that's expensive! Guess I'll continue to rock a cracked dash pad. LOL

I'm in the minority, mine hasn't broken yet. It was about the only thing in my car that wasn't broken when I got it

That method looks like the way to go, and if I screw it up it was broken anyways.
