If you wanna get fancy, ARP has LS intake manifold bolt kits in stainless steel, hex or 12 point. I'd re-use the stockers.

I just found the ARP stainless bolts. I am not trying to go fancy right now, if it works, it works.

Don't fix it if it ain't broke

I will change over to ARP bolts on the top when I get the engine running prefect. Like the intake, coil packs, coil brackets, TB. etc

I will be using ARP bolts everywhere but the heads. lol I didn't see spending that much money right now for some bolts. Plus I plan on getting different heads when I do my other LSX build.

Do the ARP bolts look nice good on the LS6 intake? Predator, did you keep your intake stock color or did you paint it?

Ryneman, my intake is just stock black color. The ARP intake bolts aren't even really noticable when everything is put back together. They are nice bolts though.

I used GM bolts for my heads and I think they're great. They even come with lock-tight applied to the threads.

Thanks again Predator. I will just reuse the stockers...for now

(Off-topic)I got the FELPRO bolts for my heads. Are these ok for a close to stock rebuild or should I get GM bolts?

I don't know anything about FELPRO bolts, I just know that GM bolts are fine. Maybe someone else can chime in.
