Default Is this a good deal?

Was wondering what you guys thing about this deal, its a local craigslist ad: Price is $350 obo.

LS1 gen IV chevy engine

LS6 block out of a 01 Camaro SS
-"Has one cracked piston for sure I don't know if anything else is wrong..."

LS1 Heads with stock springs, and valve covers. No lifters, rocker arms, or push rods.

Also comes with: Oil pan, pickup, windage tray, complete bottom end, harmonic balancer/damper, stock cam, timing chain, and exhaust manifolds

Would this be worth looking at? Anything in particular I should ask; block number, etc... Now I plan on swapping an LS1 into my Iroc down the road, but say for instance I buy a wrecked parts car, would I be able to sell this and get my money back?

Here some pics from the ad:

Well I never got a chance to take a look at it. Haven't got an email back from him since yesterday, and he's taken down all his craigslist ads so its either sold or he's going to try to get more out of it. O well back to looking for a wreck LS car.

Maybe you should just go look at the parts and make him an offer. You never know what hes gonna take, that stuff is probably taking up room in his garage and he might just want to get rid of it asap. BTW LS1 in an Iroc sounds like its gonna be sooo sick!! Good luck
