Default Shimming water pump for pulley alignment?

Does anybody make water pump spacers in order to line up pulleys? I'd like to use an LS3 Camaro style water pump with LS1 f-body accessories. This would require spacing the water pump out a bit. Does anybody make spacers of this type? If not, does anybody see any problems with having some aluminum spacers made, provided I use the proper gaskets on both sides of the spacers? Having the LS3-style water pump would make my coolant hose routing much easier on the ls swap I'm doing in my IROC.

as long as the spacers are made well, I can't see why with gaskets on both sides of the spacer and longer bolts you would have a problem.

I know this is an old thread, but isn't that the L99 pump?
